J'Shon Lee is a member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe. She is a mother, daughter, wife, and sister. She gets the most joy from learning with her son and being on the land with her family. She is a first year doctoral student in the Learning, Literacies, and Technologies program as Arizona State University. Through her research, J'Shon hopes to influence more equitable and culturally healing and sustaining teacher preparation programming, particularly in the area of land/social studies education. Prior to going back to school, J'Shon taught middle school social studies at Laguna Middle School in the Pueblo of Laguna and Bosque School in New Mexico. She was also the Director of Strategic Initiatives and AmeriCorps Program Manager for the NACA Inspired Schools Network. J'Shon loves working with the Indigenous Educators (IE) team and looks forward to continuing to support our Indidigenous communities through centerting and prioritizing the voices of Indigenous Educators.
